Student Life & Support → MADE Conference

The MADE (Moving in the Direction of Excellence) Conference covers the overall graduate school application process through dynamic mock classes, a personal statement workshop and the Graduate School Toolbox. It is designed primarily for minority-serving institutions (HBCUs and HCOs).

For this conference, the UF Office of Graduate Minority Programs (OGMP) covers the cost of hotel accommodations as well as most meals, and will remiburse up to $100 worth of travel expenses to eligible attendees.

Participants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average, and be a US citizen or permanent resident and an underrepresented minority applicant.

The next MADE Conference is February 2-3, 2012.
