My project aims to create a platform of next-generation oil dispersants that are independent of both concentration and environmental conditions. This includes synthesis and characterization of various amphiphilic grafted nanoparticles (AGNs) and testing to determine the payload capacity, stability, and toxicology. The goal is to elucidate a library of AGNs that can provide a more efficient alternative to oil spill remediation than current methodologies.
