Andrea Lin Wins Third Annual Three Minute Thesis Final CompetitionRelease Date: April 05 2016
The UF Graduate School and Organization for Graduate Academic and Professional Development (OGAP) would like to congratulate Medical Sciences Ph.D. student Andrea Lin, who was the Winner of the 2016 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) final competition with a presentation titled “Immunotherapy for Treatment of Type 1 Diabetes.”
Anthropology Ph.D. student Allysha Winburn was the Runner-Up with a presentation titled “Skeletal Age Estimation in Modern U.S. Adults: The Effects of Activity, Body Mass, and Osteoarthritis on Age-Related Changes in the Acetabulum,” and chemistry Ph.D. student Pengxu Qi won the People’s Choice Award with a presentation titled “Synthesis of biorenewable and water degradable polyesters: from green birth to green death.”
The Graduate School and OGAP would like to thank all of the competitors, judges, and volunteers who worked together to make the 2016 3MT competition a success. We hope to see you again in the 2017 competition.
