Dr. Emilia Hodge serves as the Director of Graduate Education Outreach and Associate Director for Graduate Student Affairs in the Graduate School at the University of Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in science education and a master’s degree in education from the University of North Florida. She also completed a Specialist in Education degree (mental health counseling) and her Ph.D. in educational leadership from the University of Florida.
Dr. Hodge provides vision, strategic direction, and leadership in the development and attainment of the goals of the Office of Graduate International Outreach, in collaboration with other offices within the Division of Graduate Student Affairs and other partners across campus. Dr. Hodge has also worked at Sacred Heart College in Belize and as District Education Officer with the Belize Ministry of Education. In addition, she was Director of Santa Fe’s Associate of Arts Advisement Center, and Assistant Director for UF’s Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate program. She has also worked as program evaluator for NSF-funded programs and taught program evaluation in the UNF-Belize Master’s program. Her interests include development of strategic initiatives for international outreach, professional development for graduate students, student success and program evaluation.
